Online Training Programs

At CodingAID we offer online self-study courses that are comprehensive, affordable and guaranteed to help you improve your staff's coding knowledge. All of our online courses were developed by highly experienced coding experts (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, RN) to provide the most up-to-date, official coding information and techniques. Below is a list of the areas that we provide training on:

• Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology (10 CEUs)
  This course is designed for those with minimal or no background in the basic language of medicine. In this course, your staff will attain a working knowledge of medical terminology and an understanding of related human anatomy and physiology.
• Introduction To Medical Coding (10 CEUs)
  This course provides your staff with basic knowledge of the ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding systems.
• ICD-9 Medical Coding (10 CEUs)
  Designed to improve your staff's knowledge and skills in the ICD-9-CM coding system and prepare them for certification examinations, if required.
• CPT-4 Medical Coding (10 CEUs)
  Designed to improve your staff's skills in the CPT/HCPCS coding system and prepare them for taking certification examinations, if required.
• Evaluation and Management Medical Coding (10 CEUs)
  This course is designed to enhance those skills needed to properly select E&M levels based on documentation by the physician. Key components are discussed with tools that will assist in this process. Guidelines for coding in a teaching physician setting are discussed.
• Medical Coding Principles for Practicing Physicians (10 CEUs)
  This program includes the following courses:
  • Introduction to Medical Coding
  • ICD-9-CM Coding
  • CPT-4 Coding
  • Evaluation & Management Coding
